Job summary

Al Futtaim Private Company (LLC) in Dubai is seeking an experienced Workshop Operations Supervisor to lead frontline teams, allocate job cards, and ensure timely completion of bus service tasks.

You will oversee quality checks, tool maintenance, and competency development, while coordinating with Service Advisors to keep customers informed. English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Automotive or related field.
• Certified Automotive Technician.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in workshop repair and operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• BKT (Bus Key Technician) Certification from Volvo Bus Corporation is advantageous.
• Sound technical knowledge in vehicle diagnosis and repair.
• Good communicator in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Knowledge of technical software.
• Valid UAE Passenger Bus driver's license is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the team for upcoming jobs and allocate job cards to maximize throughput in a timely manner.

• Review workshop figures to monitor progress of operational targets and prepare reports for management discussions.
• Monitor communication with customers through Service Advisors to enhance customer satisfaction.
