Job summary

EDGE, based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Structural Test Engineer to lead UAV structural testing, design and execution, ensuring airframe integrity and safety. You will collaborate with design, integration and flight test teams to validate structural performance under static, dynamic and fatigue loads.

The role requires 5–7 years in aerospace/UAV/defense testing, a relevant engineering degree, and hands-on experience with test rigs, data acquisition and structural analysis tools such as ANSYS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in structural testing, with focus on aerospace, UAV or defense systems.
