Job summary

EDGE is seeking an Environmental Test Engineer to support environmental testing activities for UAV systems and major programs. You will contribute to test planning, apply appropriate methodologies, ensure standards compliance, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns.

The candidate will have a background in mechanical/aerospace engineering with 5–8 years in environmental testing and leadership within aerospace or defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years in environmental testing, with leadership on major programs in aerospace or defense.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810, DO-160 and NATO/AIAA standards.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of environmental test campaigns for UAV systems.
• Develop qualification strategies and coordinate with certification teams.
• Assist failure investigations and data analysis related to testing.
• Help develop and improve test infrastructure, equipment and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and document test activities and audits.
