Job summary

EDGE Group PJSC in collaboration with ADASI seeks a Mechanical Airframe Systems Design Specialist to own the design, integration, and validation of airframe subsystems for UAV platforms, including landing gear, fuel, ECS, hydraulics and actuation.

You will create 3D CAD models in CATIA/NX/SolidWorks, prepare manufacturing drawings and BOMs, perform analyses, ensure compliance with AS9100 and MIL-STD, and work with avionics, propulsion and flight controls to deliver airworthy solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years in aerospace mechanical design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and PLM tools and working knowledge of AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, integration and validation of mechanical airframe systems (landing gear, fuel, ECS, hydraulics).
• Develop 3D CAD models, drawings and BOMs for UAV platforms.
• Perform structural, hydromechanical and thermal analyses to verify designs.
• Collaborate with avionics, propulsion and flight-control teams for proper integration.
• Ensure airworthiness compliance and support prototype tests and flight trials.
