Job summary

EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Aeromechanical Integration Engineer to lead the integration of weapon systems onto aircraft platforms. You will ensure mechanical interfaces, carriage and release environments, and deliver compliant analyses.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in aerospace or defense, a Bachelor in engineering, and proficiency with CAD/analysis tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, MATLAB and CFD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in defense or aerospace with aircraft–weapon integration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with safety-critical development processes and airworthiness.
• Knowledge of aeroelasticity, loads, vibration, and dynamic response.
• Proficiency in CAD/analysis tools (Creo/SolidWorks, MATLAB, CFD).

Responsibilities

• Aircraft–Weapon Aeromechanical Integration: manage interfaces and release environments.
• Mechanical Interface Definition between weapon systems and aircraft structures.
• Structural, Loads & Dynamic Analysis to assess compatibility.
• Design & Integration Reviews with engineering justification.
• Test & Verification Support for ground and flight tests.
• Compliance & Airworthiness with standards and procedures.
• Engineering Documentation & Traceability of calculations and reports.
• Technical Issue Resolution during design, integration, or tests.
