EDGE Abu Dhabi hosts POWERTECH, a propulsion technology center focusing on design, engineering, and manufacturing of combustion and turbofan engines for aerospace, defence, and UAV applications.

The Product Quality Engineer II will oversee product approval and acceptance for supplier-manufactured parts, coordinating with Design Engineering and Supply Chain under senior guidance, including APQP, PPAP, and FAI processes to ensure compliance and quality across programs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in aerospace quality, supplier quality, inspection or manufacturing engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Materials or Metrology Engineering required.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and metrology methods is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review supplier first article inspection reports against AS9102 requirements, verifying characteristic accountability and measurement results.
• Review supplier PPAP packages for completeness and technical adequacy, and prepare recommendations for approval.
• Review supplier APQP deliverables including process flow, PFMEA and control plans, and assess alignment with key characteristics.
• Verify supplier compliance with quality requirements flowed down through the PO and supplier quality requirements document.
