Job summary

Safran Seats Dubai is expanding its industrial footprint with a brand-new production plant, seeking a Manufacturing Engineering & Continuous Improvement Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team and drive QCD performance.

You will industrialize new products, establish robust process studies, APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, and Lean Six Sigma programs while ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and delivering sustained improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, or continuous improvement.
• Proven experience leading engineering or project teams.
• Proficiency with industrialization tools and methods (APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, FAI, line balancing).
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or equivalent improvement projects.
• Knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS/EN 9100) and certification requirements (Part 21/145, EASA/FAA).
• Experience in value-stream mapping, QRQC, and problem-solving methodologies (8D).
• Professional level English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of Manufacturing Engineers and Industrial Project Leaders.
• Manage the industrialization of new and evolving products from development through to series production with QCD focus.
• Design and validate assembly routings, workstations, tooling, and production equipment.
• Conduct and oversee manufacturing process studies, feasibility assessments, and validation plans (APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, FAI).
• Set up and optimize assembly lines and cells, focusing on layout, ergonomics, flow, and takt time.
• Ensure compliance with critical processes and aerospace certification requirements.
• Plan and deploy the site’s continuous improvement roadmap using Lean Six Sigma and structured problem-solving.
• Identify and manage risks, facilitate stakeholder communication.
• Analyze benefits and impact of improvement projects on financial and customer metrics.
