Job summary

EDGE, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Finishing Operator in Abu Dhabi to deburr and finish parts with precision. The role involves edge breaking, blending, polishing and performing in-process checks to ensure components meet strict specifications.

Responsibilities include operating deburring equipment, maintaining a clean, safe workspace, and ensuring proper documentation and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Trade School Accreditation or high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or accreditation in deburring.
• Understanding of straightening, material handling, and quality inspection.
• Knowledge of measurement techniques and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform finishing and deburring processes including blending, polishing and edge breaks.
• Inspect components for conformance to specifications using bench gauging.
• Follow standard procedures for tool setup, process verification and documentation.
• Operate deburring equipment (saws, grinders, polishers) and ensure safe work area.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and accurate records throughout production.
