Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Finishing Operator to deburr parts by removing sharp edges and tool marks, performing blending and polishing, and ensuring conformance to specifications. You will inspect components, set up tools, maintain safety, complete IPM, and document processes.

Qualifications

• Trade School Accreditation/High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or Accreditation in Deburring.
• Quality Inspection and Measurement.
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, industrial environments.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform finishing and deburring processes including blending, polishing and edge breaks.
• Inspect manufactured components for quality conformance to specifications.
• Follow standard procedures for tool setup, process verification, and product inspection.
• Perform visual inspection and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Deburring of parts by removing sharp edges, mismatch, tool marks, tab cutting and grinding.
• Perform Spot facing as required.
• Straighten by 3-point bending, shot peening or hand mallet.
• Perform IPM to ensure quality output for customers.
• Complete controlled documents accurately and timely and maintain 5S in area.
