Job summary

Al Tayer Group in Dubai is seeking an HSE Administrative Support professional to assist the HSE department with documentation, reporting and safety coordination.

You will maintain records, manage documentation systems, inspect sites, prepare safety equipment maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with government safety standards and project safety plans. You will also conduct toolbox talks and support safety training and first aid awareness across factory/site teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline, preferably Commerce.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in HSE administration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Understand HSE needs from operation/execution teams.
• Maintain HSE documentation system and records.
• Inspect sites for safety equipment needs before works.
• Regularly inspect sites for compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare and monitor safety equipment maintenance schedules.
• Ensure fire regulations are followed and precautions are in place.
• Provide monthly HSE reports.
• Conduct periodic safety audits and report findings.
• Prepare accident reports and implement corrective actions.
• Identify unsafe practices and follow up on nonconformities.
• Conduct regular Toolbox Talks and maintain records.
• Impart training and awareness on safety and first aid.

To support HSE department by providing professional administration related services, enabling the team to function effectively and efficiently

Responsibilities

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

• Understanding the HSE needs from operation/ execution team and monitor the requirement
• Maintain necessary HSE documentation system for efficient and orderly storage and retrieval of documents/information. Maintain and update all necessary records, files and database
• Inspect the factory/site/camp during the establishment phase and indicate all the safety equipment that will be needed before commencement of works
• Regularly inspect factory/site for adherence to safety standards as specified by the government authorities and specific project safety plan
• Prepare safety equipment maintenance schedule and ensure its adherence
• Ensure that fire regulations are adhered to and every possible precaution is taken to enable quick action when required
• Provide monthly reports with regards to HSE.
• Conduct periodic safety audit on factory/site and send weekly report to Production/Project manager
• Prepare accident report highlighting cause of accident; propose corrective action and implement, to prevent recurrence
• Identify unsafe practices on site/factory, prepare necessary nonconformity reports, record the same and follow up for corrective action
• Conduct regular Tool Box Talk & maintain records
• Impart training and awareness amongst all factory/site staff and subcontractors on safety and first aid guidelines
