Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking an Administrator for Health and Safety in the UAE to support the HSE department by providing professional administrative services. The role involves maintaining documentation, coordinating safety activities, and training personnel to ensure compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Commerce preferred), and will work on-site in Dubai to support operations and ensure safe working

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Commerce preferred).
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in HSE/administration.

Responsibilities

• Understand HSE needs from operations and monitor requirements.
• Maintain HSE documentation and records for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Inspect sites to identify safety equipment needs before works commence.
• Regularly inspect sites for adherence to safety standards and project safety plan.
• Prepare safety equipment maintenance schedules and ensure adherence.
• Ensure fire regulations are followed and safety measures are in place for rapid action.
• Provide monthly HSE reports.
• Conduct periodic safety audits and report to Production/Project manager.
• Prepare accident reports, identify causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Identify unsafe practices, raise nonconformity reports, and track corrective actions.
• Deliver safety and first-aid training to staff and subcontractors.

Job Description

To support HSE department by providing professional administration related services, enabling the team to function effectively and efficiently

Responsibilities

• Understanding the HSE needs from operation/ execution team and monitor the requirement
• Maintain necessary HSE documentation system for efficient and orderly storage and retrieval of documents/information. Maintain and update all necessary records, files and database
• Inspect the factory/site/camp during the establishment phase and indicate all the safety equipment that will be needed before commencement of works
• Regularly inspect factory/site for adherence to safety standards as specified by the government authorities and specific project safety plan
• Prepare safety equipment maintenance schedule and ensure its adherence
• Ensure that fire regulations are adhered to and every possible precaution is taken to enable quick action when required
• Provide monthly reports with regards to HSE.
• Conduct periodic safety audit on factory/site and send weekly report to Production/Project manager
• Prepare accident report highlighting cause of accident; propose corrective action and implement, to prevent recurrence
• Identify unsafe practices on site/factory, prepare necessary nonconformity reports, record the same and follow up for corrective action
• Impart training and awareness amongst all factory/site staff and subcontractors on safety and first aid guidelines
