Job summary

Golden Goose in Dubai HQ is seeking a regional finance professional to strengthen the accounts payable and general accounting functions. Based in Dubai, you will report to the Regional Head of Finance (MEINA) and help build our regional financial foundation by processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in AP or accounting in UAE, a bachelor's in accounting or finance, strong Excel and ERP experience, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of AP or general accounting experience in UAE retail or multinational.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Solid bookkeeping knowledge, double-entry, and AP processes; strong Excel and ERP familiarity.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; proactive problem-solving; team player.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and code vendor invoices and supplier bills into the ERP system.
• Prepare and execute weekly and monthly payment runs with approvals.
• Monitor customer/wholesale balances and follow up on aging receivables.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and perform reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end closing, accruals, and reporting.
• Maintain organized financial records for controls and audits.

We are looking for a passionate talent to build our regional financial foundation. The position will report directly to the Regional Head of Finance (MEINA) and will be based in our Dubai HQ.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Receive, accurately verify, and code vendor invoices, retail-related expenses, and supplier bills into the corporate ERP system;
• Prepare and execute timely weekly and monthly payment runs via bank platforms, ensuring proper internal approvals and authorization compliance;
• Monitor customer/wholesale balances, allocate incoming payments, and follow up on aging receivables.
• Nurture positive relationships with local and international suppliers, performing regular statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies with empathy and efficiency;
• Support the senior finance team and the Regional Head of Finance during month-end closing procedures, actively contributing to accruals preparation and reporting;
• Maintain organized physical and digital financial archives, ensuring readiness for internal controls and audit requirements.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 3-5 years of operational experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting, ideally within a dynamic retail or multinational environment in the UAE;
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field;
• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, double-entry principles, and accounts payable processing workflows. Good command of MS Excel and familiarity with modern accounting software or ERPs;
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, a proactive attitude toward problem-solving, and a natural team-player spirit;
• Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory.
