The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Adjunct Tutor to support the delivery of Game Media Industries, an undergraduate subject within the Bachelor of Communication and Media (BCM) program.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in game studies, digital media, interactive media, game culture, esports, media industries, digital communities, or contemporary screen media who can help students critically analyse one of the world's fastest-growing creative industries.

About the Subject
Digital video games have emerged as one of the world's largest creative industries and most influential forms of media entertainment. This subject explores the historical development of games, contemporary gaming cultures, esports, live streaming, fandom communities, and the economic and cultural impact of game media.
Students critically examine game texts, paratexts, branding, merchandising, online communities, review cultures, and digital participation while developing analytical and creative media projects.
