Job summary

Sharjah Maritime Academy invites applications for an English language teaching role. A Master’s degree in TESOL/Applied Linguistics is required, with at least three years of EFL/ESL experience and CEFR-aligned instruction.

Experience with LMS and diverse multicultural learners is preferred; a PhD is desirable. The position focuses on Foundation English, intensive English, and EAP programs, with emphasis on measurable outcomes and technology-enabled teaching.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience

• Applicants should have
• A minimum of three years of English language teaching experience
• Experience teaching Foundation English intensive English EAP or similar English language programs
• Experience delivering CEFR-aligned English language instruction and supporting learners with diverse English proficiency levels
• Experience in curriculum and syllabus development assessment design moderation and English language assessment
• Experience preparing students for internationally recognized English language proficiency examinations such as Cambridge English Qualifications IELTS or TOEFL is highly desirable
• Experience using Learning Management Systems LMS and technology-enhanced teaching and learning
• Experience teaching in multicultural and diverse learning environments
