Job summary

athGADLANG seeks an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to manage invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and refunds. On-site in Al Quoz, Dubai, you will monitor accounts, contact customers, and ensure cash flow targets are met. Arabic language skills are a plus and experience in automotive or vehicle rental is preferred.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation and Excel/ERP skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and support month-end closing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/commerce or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounts receivable/credit control/collections experience.
• Automotive/vehicle rental/leases/transportation industry experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and ERP/accounting system skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify and issue invoices for rentals, contracts, fines, tolls, fuel, damages.
• Monitor accounts, credit limits, payment terms, and balances.
• Follow up on overdue accounts via calls, emails, and letters.
• Prepare aging, collection, and cash flow reports.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies.
• Resolve billing disputes and coordinate with internal teams.
• Monitor security deposits and refunds with appropriate deductions.
• Coordinate settlements with banks/payment providers.
• Escalate long-outstanding accounts per procedures.
• Maintain records of collection activities and communications.
• Support month-end close related to accounts receivable.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to manage customer invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and security deposit refunds. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain healthy cash flow through effective collection and credit control practices. Experience within the automotive, vehicle rental, leasing, or related industries is preferred. Arabic language skills will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and issue invoices for vehicle rentals, lease contracts, traffic fines, toll charges, fuel, damages, and other related services.
• Monitor customer accounts, credit limits, payment terms, and outstanding balances.
• Follow up on overdue accounts through calls, emails, and written correspondence to achieve collection targets.
• Prepare receivable aging reports, collection reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies.
• Resolve billing disputes and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor security deposits and process refunds after verifying applicable deductions and approvals.
• Coordinate with banks and payment providers regarding settlements and refund processing.

Requirements
