Job summary

ACCA Careers in Dubai is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to manage invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and security deposit refunds on site in Al Quoz.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in AR/Collections, strong Excel and ERP skills, and excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Arabic language skills are an advantage, and Saturday work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Collections.
• Experience within automotive, vehicle rental, leasing, transportation, or service industries is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of receivables management and customer account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Arabic language skills are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and issue invoices for vehicle rentals, lease contracts, traffic fines, toll charges, fuel, damages, and other related services.
• Monitor customer accounts, credit limits, payment terms, and outstanding balances.
• Follow up on overdue accounts through calls, emails, and written correspondence to achieve collection targets.
• Prepare receivable aging reports, collection reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies.
• Resolve billing disputes and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor security deposits and process refunds after verifying applicable deductions and approvals.
• Coordinate with banks and payment providers regarding settlements and refund processing.
• Escalate long-outstanding accounts in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer communications.
• Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
