Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group is seeking an organised Accounts Payable & General Cashier to join the opening team at Radisson Fujairah. You will manage supplier invoices, payments, and daily cash handling in a busy hotel finance department.

Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you will ensure accuracy, uphold financial controls, and support month-end closes, audits, and reconciliations. UAE hotel experience is advantageous as are Excel and accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable, General Cashier or similar in a hotel.
• Understanding of accounts payable processes, cash handling, and reconciliations.
• Strong numerical skills with attention to detail.
• UAE hotel experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time.
• Maintain supplier accounts, reconcile statements and follow up on discrepancies.
• Handle daily cash collections, deposits and banking activities.
• Manage petty cash and cashier floats in line with hotel procedures.
• Prepare cash and bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support month-end closing, audits and other Finance department requirements.

Are you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional who takes pride in accuracy and getting the numbers right? We are looking for a reliable and motivated Accounts Payable & General Cashier to join our opening team and support the smooth and efficient operation of the Finance department.

Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for managing supplier payments and maintaining accurate accounts payable records, while also overseeing the hotel's daily cash handling, banking and cashiering processes in accordance with established financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time.
• Maintain supplier accounts, reconcile statements and follow up on discrepancies.
• Handle daily cash collections, deposits and banking activities.
• Manage petty cash and cashier floats in line with hotel procedures.
• Prepare cash and bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support month-end closing, audits and other Finance department requirements.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the hotel's financial controls and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable, General Cashier or a similar Finance role, within a hotel environment.
• Good understanding of accounts payable processes, cash handling and reconciliations.
• Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance is an advantage.
• UAE hotel and pre-opening experience are advantages.
