Job summary

Confidential in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Accounts Manager or Senior Accounts Manager with 5+ years of accounting experience, including UAE exposure, to manage project finance, construction accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.

The role involves coordinating with banks, auditors, consultants, and external advisers, maintaining accurate records, CWIP and fixed assets, and ensuring transfer-pricing and VAT compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with CA qualification.
• 5+ years of overall accounting experience.
• 2-3 years UAE accounting experience at minimum.
• Strong project and construction accounting experience.
• Experience managing CWIP and fixed assets.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Understanding of related-party transactions and basic transfer-pricing.
• Strong Excel and ERP/accounting-software skills.
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation and financial reporting abilities.
• Experience working with banks, auditors, consultants and external advisers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• UAE-based candidates with relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project finance, construction accounting, and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate records for CWIP, fixed assets, and related transactions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other financial regulations.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and external advisers.
• Prepare reconciliations, financial analyses, and management reports.
• Support related-party transactions and transfer-pricing compliance.
• Use ERP systems and advanced Excel to manage financial operations efficiently.
