Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/CMA/CPA or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum 8 years of finance experience with managerial responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience with statutory, internal, and external audits.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, construction, contracting, or infrastructure sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities and prepare financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Lead statutory, internal, and external audits while coordinating with auditors and resolving audit findings.
• Develop project budgets, monitor cost-to-complete, prepare forecasts, and analyze budget variances.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and financial guarantees.
• Prepare management reports and provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while driving continuous process improvements.

This leadership role is ideal for finance professionals with extensive accounting, audit, and financial management experience who can oversee financial operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, project cost control, cash flow management, audit coordination, and leading the accounting team. Candidates with strong experience in IFRS, UAE taxation, and project-based industries such as Oil & Gas, EPC, construction, or infrastructure are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities and prepare financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Lead statutory, internal, and external audits while coordinating with auditors and resolving audit findings.

Requirements:

• CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including managerial responsibilities.
• Hands‑on experience managing statutory, internal, and external audits.
• Strong knowledge of audit planning, financial controls, compliance, and audit observation management.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and project accounting.
• Previous experience within Oil & Gas, EPC, construction, contracting, or infrastructure sectors is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
