Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions.
• Maintain financial records per policies and procedures.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
• Prepare project-wise job cost reports monthly.
• Coordinate tax issues and audit preparation.

Job description

Job Role:

• Ensure recording all the transactions on a day to day basis.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
• Control on the Guarantee – Advance payment, Performance guarantee and Tender Guarantee and monitoring of closure on time.
• Monthly Preparation of Project wise job cost report
• Ensure to prepare the bank reconciliation on monthly basis.
• Complete scrutiny of petty cash expenses and impose strict internal controls.
• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities
• Monitor and support taxation issues
• Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
• Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
• Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues
• Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
• Proper management of Fixed Assets, verification of monthly depreciations, asset disposals, and checking the profitability of financing of various assets.
• Comparison of Project costs with budgeted costs and verification of variations approved.
• Insurance Policies, Monitoring all Insurance Policies, renewal of policies as and when required, obtaining new policies for projects and General Insurance, rising Insurance Claims etc.
• Any other related works which are not listed above but its nature requires it to be discharged by the Finance Department.
• Any other task assigned time to time.
