Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our growing finance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, familiarity with statutory compliance, and the ability to work independently with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping and financial reporting.
2. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
3. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
4. Assist with GST filings and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
5. Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
6. Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
7. Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
2. 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an IT company.
3. Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
4. Familiarity with GST and statutory compliance requirements.
