Qualifications

We areseeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing comprehensive financial statements, and ensuring strict compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. This role requires a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 7 years of experience, with a strong background in tax, Tally, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations: Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Financial Statements: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting policies, principles, and financial regulations, including GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis to support strategic financial planning.
• Tax Filings: Prepare data to file GST and TDS returns, and coordinate with external auditors for internal audits for India if needed. File VAT returns in UAE, assist in Annual Audits closure.
• Finalization of Accounts: Oversee the finalization of accounts including the preparation of Trial Balance, Cash Flow Statement, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet.
• Daily Accounting Entries: Handle routine accounting tasks such as bank vouchers, cash vouchers, journal entries, sales and purchase invoices, and bank reconciliation.
• Payroll Management: Process payroll and salary calculations, ensuring compliance with legal payroll requirements including Provident Fund, ESIC, etc.
• MIS Reporting: Prepare and present various MIS reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background: B. Com/ M. Com/ MBA in Finance or Accounting/ Inter CA.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of tax regulations, Tally ERP or SAP, and experience with accounting software.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in the fintech industry is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
