Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as Tally, ERP, SAP or QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities with strong organizational skills.
• Good English communication, both written and spoken; confidentiality a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
• Record financial transactions accurately in the system.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Assist in monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
• Coordinate with internal departments on financial documentation.
• Assist with VAT documentation and UAE regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Finance Manager.
