Job summary

Decimal is a franchise network of operator-owned accounting firms that provides technology, processes, and infrastructure to independent accountants to help them grow without giving up ownership.

We are seeking an accounting leader to oversee multiple clients, lead the delivery of accounting services, and drive automation and process improvements. Strong QBO experience and client relationship management are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of public accounting or full-cycle accounting experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of client relationship management experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience.
• Ability to communicate with clients and team members clearly and effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the operational lead on accounting delivery, partnering with the Firm Principal/Franchise Owner
• Oversee accounting operations for multiple clients
• Direct and review the analyst team's work across A/P, A/R, payroll, bank reconciliations, and adjusting journal entries
• Proactively identify opportunities for automation, delegation, and process improvement
• Prepare and review general ledger entries and supporting documentation
• Perform, analyze, and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Research and resolve questions related to general ledger items
