Job summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at Blue Moon Packaging Materials Trading LLC in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, and supporting the company’s financial reporting and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
• Monitor customer payments and supplier balances.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Ensure accurate recording of sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.
• Assist with VAT calculations, returns, and UAE tax compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments when required.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and audits.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and UAE regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and basic UAE tax regulations.
