Job summary

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero network, seeks an experienced Accountant in Dubai to manage accounts payable/receivable, perform journal entries in AX Dynamics 365, and support month-end close. The role requires strong analytical skills and familiarity with IFRS and multinational reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting and 3–5 years of experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with IFRS standards and financial policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up on accounts receivable to reduce bad debts.
• Record journal entries and AX Dynamics 365 transactions.
• Process cheque deposits and communicate with restaurants.
• Record cash and bank daily transactions and reconciliations.
• Record accrued and prepaid expenses; prepare supplier payments.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing tasks and ensure policy compliance.
• Review sales bonuses and ensure accuracy in reporting.

• Cheques Deposit & Communication with Restaurants
• Recording of Cash & Bank Daily Transactions
• Recording of Accrued & Prepaid Expenses
• Preparing Payments to Suppliers
• Reconciliation of Accounts
• Reviewing of Sales bonus
• Knowledge of Month-End & Year-End Closing Process

Qualifications
