Job summary

MENA-Water in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, seeks an accounting professional to support day-to-day financial record-keeping, record daily transactions, and assist with accounts payable/receivable processes.

You will prepare invoices, support bank reconciliations, and help with month-end closing and audits while ensuring compliance with VAT and corporate tax regulations. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting / IFRS.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, or Oracle-based ERP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic understanding of VAT & CORPORATE TAX
• High level of Confidentiality, integrity & excellent time management.
