Job summary

MENA WATER FZC in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced accountant to maintain financial records, record daily transactions, and support month-end closing. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting / IFRS
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, or Oracle-based ERP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic understanding of VAT & CORPORATE TAX
• High level of Confidentiality, integrity & excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining financial records and accounting documentation
• Record daily financial transactions and update accounting systems
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
• Support bank reconciliations and expense tracking
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
• Help ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
• Support senior accountants during audits and month-end closing
