Job summary

Talent Shark HR Consultancy L.L.C in Dubai is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage IFRS-based financial reporting and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The role oversees month-end close, GL, AP/AR, and inventory costing, while driving internal controls and process improvements. Candidates should hold a degree in accounting/finance and a relevant certification, with ERP experience and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with ERP systems SAP, Oracle and Tally.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and local tax compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial processes and documentation meet ISO standards for QMS.
• Maintain VAT, corporate tax and legal compliance across jurisdictions.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on costs, productivity, and margins.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing for timely reporting.
• Supervise general ledger, AP, AR and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee inventory costing and reconciliations with warehouse and manufacturing teams.
• Develop and implement internal controls and procedures for efficiency.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide schedules and documentation.
• Manage tax filings including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax.
• Supervise, train, and develop junior accounting staff; review work for accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes through technology.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure financial processes and documentation meet international and local ISO standards for Quality Management Systems
• Maintain compliance with VAT corporate tax and legal regulations in multiple jurisdictions
• Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements Balance Sheet P L CashFlow
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on costs productivity and margins to management
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Supervise general ledger functions including accounts payable accounts receivable and bankreconciliations
• Oversee inventory costing valuation and reconciliations in coordination with warehouse manufacturingteams
• Develop and implement internal controls policies and procedures to enhance efficiency
• Coordinate with external auditors providing necessary schedules and supporting documentation
• Manage tax filings including VAT returns corporate income tax and withholding tax for regionaloperations
• Supervise train and develop junior accounting staff reviewing their work for accuracy
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes through technology and better systemutilization
