Job summary

Salados Jewellery seeks an experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of gold bullion accounting, including bullion inventory, weight and fineness reconciliation, and VAT compliance in the UAE. The role covers purchases and sales, bank reconciliation, AP/AR, month-end closing, and financial reporting using ERP software.

You will also support external and internal audits, ensuring accurate stock valuation and reconciliation of physical bullion with ledgers.

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in gold bullion & precious metals.
• Strong bullion inventory and stock reconciliation knowledge.
• VAT accounting and UAE tax compliance.
• Month-end closing and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software and audits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bullion inventory records and reconcile with accounting books.
• Process purchases, sales, and supplier/customer reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage AP/AR.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and assist audits.
• Ensure accurate stock valuation and weight/purity reconciliation.

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting for gold bullion and precious metals. The candidate should have hands-on experience in bullion inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, purity/fineness and weight reconciliation, purchases and sales, bank reconciliation, AP/AR, VAT, month-end closing and financial reporting.
