Job summary

Our client, a dynamic real estate developer in the UAE, seeks an Accountant to support financial operations across project accounting, VAT filings, and reporting. You will manage project-level records, track costs, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and RERA/RAK guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, at least 3 years in real estate, strong Excel and ERP skills, and meticulous attention to detail to deliver accurate financial statements and audits.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of real estate financial cycles and project cost tracking.
• VAT filing and tax compliance knowledge for UAE.
• Experience with escrow regulations and developer compliance standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage project-level accounting, cost tracking and variance reporting.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment verification.
• Prepare VAT returns and maintain VAT documentation.
• Support month-end/year-end closing and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and internal controls.
