LionHires Recruitment in Dubai seeks an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for group entities across multiple jurisdictions and ensure IFRS compliance. You will handle monthly, quarterly, and annual stand-alone reporting and collaborate with external auditors in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, strong English, and hands-on experience with Xero or modern cloud ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS or similar framework.
• Proficient in English; experience with Big 4/audit is desirable.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and standalone reporting for group companies across various international jurisdictions. In this role, you will ensure full compliance with international accounting standards, handle key tax reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations (invoice booking, procurement, payment runs) and prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual standalone management accounts for group entities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support the preparation of annual statutory financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards.
• Provide actionable financial insights to other business units and assist senior management with ad hoc finance projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional or international environment.
• Solid knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS or similar framework).
• Intermediate / Upper intermediate English.
• Hands-on experience with Xero is a plus (or proven adaptability to learn modern cloud ERP system quickly).
• Prior experience working directly with Big 4 or international audit firms is highly desirable.
• Ability to work full-time in the office.
