Job summary

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions (AP/AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries).
• Assist in preparing financial reports (balance sheets, P&L) with regulatory compliance.
• Support CT and VAT preparation and filing for UAE regulations.
• Conduct monthly and year-end closings, reconciliations and adjustments.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow analysis and forecasts; liaise with auditors.

We are hiring an experienced Accountant (Chinese Speaker) to join our Dubai team immediately or in a short time, working under the guidance of the FTA approved tax agent. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and assist with financial reporting and tax compliance. This role requires a solid foundation in accounting principles and experience with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support CT and VAT preparation and filing, collaborating closely with the team lead to ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Conduct monthly and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Provide support in budget preparation, cash flow analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Maintain proper documentation and collaborate with external auditors during audits.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Chinese language is must
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; additional certification (such as ACCA) is advantageous.
• 4-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of IFRS standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Odoo)
