Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai seeks an experienced Accountant who is fluent in English and Chinese to join our finance team. You will manage daily financial transactions, prepare reports, and assist with VAT and CT compliance under UAE regulations.

The ideal candidate holds aBachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, IFRS proficiency, and 4–5 years of UAE experience. ACCA is a plus; knowledge of QuickBooks, Zoho, or Odoo is welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• IFRS knowledge and UAE regulatory experience preferred.
• ACCA certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions including AR/AP and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements such as balance sheets and P&L.
• Support CT and VAT filing and UAE compliance.
• Contribute to monthly/year-end closings and adjustments.
• Assist budget preparation and cash flow analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits.

Job Description: We are hiring an experienced Accountant (Chinese Speaker) to join our Dubai team immediately or in a short time, working under the guidance of the FTA approved tax agent. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and assist with financial reporting and tax compliance. This role requires a solid foundation in accounting principles and experience with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support CT and VAT preparation and filing, collaborating closely with the team lead to ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Conduct monthly and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Provide support in budget preparation, cash flow analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Maintain proper documentation and collaborate with external auditors during audits.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Chinese language is must
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; additional certification (such as ACCA) is advantageous.
• 4-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of IFRS standards.
