Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an Accounts Executive in Ajman to manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of hands-on accounting experience and practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.

Experience with Zoho Books or similar ERP software is preferred. Responsibilities include reconciliations, invoicing, financial reporting, and coordination with auditors and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely closures.

Qualifications

• Experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with UAE/India VAT is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and other financial transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Prepare invoices, payment records, statements, and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier, and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules and supporting records.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up as required.
• Prepare financial and management reports as required.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and records.
• Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
• Ensure accounting entries are accurate, complete, and properly supported.

3. Candidates currently on husband's/family sponsorship may be preferred based on the company's hiring requirements.

4. 3-6 years of relevant accounting experience.

5. Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce.

6. Practical experience with UAE/Indian accounting and taxation.

7. Hands-on experience in UAE/India VAT is required.

8. Experience with UAE Corporate Tax is added advantage.

9. Hands-on experience with Zoho Books/Talley is preferred.

10. Good working knowledge of Microsoft and AI will be an added advantage.
