Job summary

Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi is seeking an Accommodation Attendant to maintain Heartist accommodation to the highest standards. The role suits those with hands-on experience in building maintenance who thrive in a dynamic hospitality setting.

You will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, address AC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting tasks, and ensure safety and quality in all work. Prioritizing requests independently is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in hotels, staff accommodation, or residential facilities.
• Good working knowledge of air conditioning (AC) systems, electrical works, and plumbing.
• Experience in general handyman tasks such as carpentry, painting, and minor repairs.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance requests effectively.
• Basic English communication skills.
• A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect accommodation facilities regularly to identify and resolve maintenance issues.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs; ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and company standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate maintenance records.
