Job Description

About Us: We are a leading language training center in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, committed to delivering high-quality language education. We are seeking a dynamic and organized Academic & Exams Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our mission of excellence in language education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Faculty Management & Professional Development: Support training and mentoring language instructors, fostering a collaborative teaching environment. Conduct regular evaluations of teaching staff with the CSD Managers' guidance, to assess effectiveness and provide constructive feedback. Organize professional development workshops to enhance instructional quality.
  • Assessment & Examination Coordination: Oversee the administration of internal and external language proficiency assessments. Liaise directly with exam boards (e.g., OSD, CILS, DELF, DELE, Cambridge) for candidate entries, deadlines, and regulations. Create and publish exam timetables, including mock and official assessments. Arrange venues, invigilators, speaking examiners, and all necessary exam logistics. Brief invigilators on rules and procedures to assure integrity and regulatory compliance. Monitor exam sessions, troubleshoot any last-minute issues, and ensure smooth execution. Handle incidents or emergencies in line with policies. Collect, return, and store exam materials securely. Manage results—distribution, record-keeping, handling inquiries, and liaising with exam boards and coordination team.
  • Administrative & Operational Support: Assist in the daily operations of the Course Solutions Department by managing resources, and ensuring smooth administrative processes to support academic activities and the Course enrollments and delivery.
  • Curriculum Development and Academic Relations: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of language curricula, ensuring alignment with international standards and examination requirements. Collaborate with instructors to develop and update course materials, monitor student progress, and implement assessment strategies. Foster strong relationships with external organizations, examination bodies, and other educational institutions to ensure the relevance and quality of the language programs offered.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between students, instructors, and administration. Communicate program updates and changes to all stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to educational standards and regulatory requirements, including KHDA and Eaquals guidelines. Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance and implement corrective actions as needed.
