Key Responsibilities

• Teach Economics to A-Level students and prepare learners for external examinations.
• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging, and curriculum‑aligned Economics lessons.
• Prepare schemes of work, yearly assessment plans, weekly lesson plans, and daily teaching materials.
• Design assessment tasks that measure student understanding, subject knowledge, analytical ability, and exam readiness.
• Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
• Promote active learning, critical thinking, problem‑solving, economic reasoning, and higher order thinking skills.
• Support students in developing strong subject knowledge, analytical writing, data interpretation, and exam technique.
• Manage class teacher responsibilities with a focus on student progress, discipline, and knowledge enrichment.
• Contribute to raising teaching standards and improving learning outcomes across the classroom.
• Use educational technology, digital resources, and IT tools to enhance teaching and learning.
