Job summary

Confidential, based in the United Arab Emirates, seeks a skilled mechanical engineer specializing in 3D modelling using Autodesk Inventor. The role focuses on translating complex mechanical components such as furnaces, ducting, and steel structures into precise 3D models and 2D production drawings.

You will create fabrication and erection drawings, tags, BOMs and shipping lists, and interpret client specs and company standards.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in 3D modelling of mechanical components such as furnaces, ducting and steel elements
• Pressure parts components experience (ASME I and VIII) is preferred
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor software and related tools

Responsibilities

• Execute 3D models using Autodesk Inventor
• Produce 2D detailing from the Inventor models
• Create fabrication and erection drawings with item tags, BOMs and shipping lists
• Interpret client specifications and comply with company standards

• 3D Model execution with Autodesk Inventor software.
• 2D detailing production from the Autodesk Inventor model.
• Fabrication and erection drawings with items tags, BOMs, and shipping lists.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in 3D modelling of mechanical component such as furnace, ducting and steel elements, pressure parts components (ASME I and VIII).

• BE or ME in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
• Skill in use of Autodesk Inventor software.
• Skill in using Autodesk Inventor iLogic rules (developed by other) for standard items /standard templates customization.
• Ability to interpret and comply with Client specification, Company standards.
• Software: Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
• Language: fluent English level required.
