Job summary

Bluewater Yachting seeks a skilled Second Officer for a 74m private motor yacht, based in Dubai. The candidate must have strong exterior maintenance abilities, bridge watchkeeping experience, and the capacity to lead a large deck crew and coordinate contractors on ongoing projects.

Starting around October, the role offers a permanent contract with time-for-time rotation and a 13th-month bonus plus training incentives. Salary is DOE and includes excellent medical insurance.

Qualifications

OOW qualification essential.
5+ years deck experience.
Experience leading a deck crew.
Bridge watchkeeping experience and equipment knowledge.
Contractor management and project oversight experience.

Responsibilities

Lead a large deck crew and supervise daily operations.
Manage contractors and ongoing deck projects on the vessel.
Oversee exterior maintenance and deck equipment.
Perform bridge watchkeeping duties as required.

2nd Officer

74m private motor yacht

Vessel will cruise the UAE during the winter and start to prepare for a 10 year haul out and special survey for summer 2027.

The right candidate will have excellent exterior maintenance experience and is able to lead a large team of deck crew as well as manage contractors and ongoing projects.

Along with keen abilities outside you will need to have good bridge watchkeeping experience and equipment knowledge.

The position offers time for time rotation.
