Do you have experience dealing with both European and US Grants? Charity People is partnering with a growing international charity based in London, with a turnover of approximately £10 million. They are seeking a Management Accountant (Grants and Partnership) to join their dynamic Finance team.

This is a newly created contract role until December 2025. The salary is £53,507 per annum, with excellent benefits and opportunities for personal development. The role reports to the Head of Management Accounts and involves working in the office twice a week.

• Develop budgets for concept notes and proposals.
• Manage financial requirements for grants across all involved parties.
• Allocate expenditure according to approved budgets.
• Prepare financial reports for donors as per their requirements.
• Lead or support donor audits related to grants.
• Handle donor queries effectively.
• Maintain and improve partnership management guidelines from a financial perspective.
• Ensure financial clauses in partnership agreements align with organizational policies and are adapted as necessary.

• Experience in the grant management cycle, including donor reporting and proposals for US and European donors.
• Experience in financial aspects of partnership management and expenditure allocation.
• Knowledge of working with donor budgets, reports, and audits.
• Understanding of working with partners and related reporting disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills for complex financial transactions.
• Proficiency in SUN, Vision Q&A, Microsoft Office, and preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Query.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under deadlines.
• Self-aware with an understanding of personal strengths and limitations.
