A financial services company in George, South Africa is seeking a Senior Accountant to support their accounting team and manage financial statements for clients. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, at least 5 years of experience, and extensive knowledge of VAT laws and payroll administration. Excellent computer skills and bilingual proficiency in English and Afrikaans are required.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience compiling financial statements.
- Basic knowledge of IFRS for SMEs.
Responsabilités
- Process invoices and bank transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare management accounts and financial statements.
- Support during independent reviews or audit engagements.
