Job summary

Urban Affairs Coalition seeks an Activities Leader to support YOACAP's after-school Project BUILD and summer youth program. The role involves reviewing coursework, leading clubs, and coordinating weekly check-ins with middle and high school students.

The position is part-time, 20–25 hours/week, with daytime and afternoon hours. Candidates will engage youth, foster a positive image, and help students build academic and career readiness skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth in after-school programs.
• Proficiency with Google Classroom and Google Workspace.
• Ability to lead student clubs (book club, stem club, future ready, homework, college access).
• Willingness to assist with after-school and summer activities and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing YOACAP's after-school program Project BUILD.
• Meet with students weekly to review coursework and prepare for tests.
• Assist with summer youth employment program: weekly workshops, timesheets, site visits, youth monitoring, weekly check-ins, troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean program site and uphold YOACAP standards and positive image.
