Job summary

Oxyon People Solutions is seeking an experienced Workshop/Production Manager to lead the engineering workshop and production operations. The role focuses on hands-on leadership, CNC machining oversight, and ensuring timely delivery to exact specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision engineering, be adept at planning and scheduling, and capable of driving quality, safety, and efficiency across the workshop and client-facing activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Workshop Manager, Production Manager or similar management role.
• Strong background in precision engineering / manufacturing.
• Extensive CNC machining and programming experience.
• Experience managing a production or engineering workshop.
• Strong production planning and scheduling experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
• Experience managing and leading technical/workshop teams.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience dealing with clients and meeting customer specifications.
• Good understanding of engineering, safety and quality standards.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities
