Job summary

Watershed Consulting in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a Workshop Manager – Logistics to lead workshop operations and drive capacity planning for reliable service delivery. You will ensure high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and effective reporting.

You will manage staff, budgets, asset systems, and maintain detailed maintenance records while aligning with OEM standards and the apprentice program. A driver’s license (Code 10/14) is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Trade tested Diesel Mechanic.
  • 7 years’ supervisory and management experience in logistics workshop.
  • Technical expertise pertaining to automotive systems, diagnostics and OEM service standards.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, trucks, auto electrical & workshop financial management processes.
  • Operational expertise pertaining to WIP management, capacity planning and workshop operations.
  • Valid driver’s license (Code 10/14 advantageous).
  • Good communication skills, innovative thinking, strong conceptual and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong attention to detail.

Workshop Manager – Logistics (KZN)

Overview: The Workshop Manager is responsible for managing the full operation ensuring efficient service delivery, high-quality workmanship, and strong team performance. The role also involves strict administrative control, accurate reporting, and adherence to company procedures, alongside managing budgets, assets, and warranty processes.

Remuneration:

R50000 CTC negotiable
