Job summary

PwC South Africa is seeking an Associate to join the Risk Information, Reporting and Technology practice within Risk Data and Analytics. You will contribute to developing strategies and implementing Workiva-based financial reporting solutions to drive accurate, timely insights.

The role focuses on configuring Workiva modules, mapping data to financial statements, validating data across sources, and supporting end-user training in a fast-paced advisory environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in financial reporting or related field.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Workiva or other financial reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the client engagement team to implement and configure Workiva financial reporting modules.
• Set up and configure Workiva documents and spreadsheets.
• Identify and link data points across the Workiva platform to ensure seamless data flow.
• Map imported data to financial statement tables (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Perform data validation checks and reconcile data points across sources.
• Participate in testing of financial reports within Workiva to ensure data integrity.
• Assist with training end-users on the Workiva platform as needed.
