Job summary

Pick n Pay is seeking a Workday Solution Specialist to own and optimise the Workday environment, ensuring stable security, configuration, and continuous improvement for People processes and employee experience.

You will collaborate with People leads, HR Shared Services, IT and external Workday partners to translate requirements into scalable solutions, handling configuration, testing, release management, reporting and data integration with accountability and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma in a related field with Workday experience.
• Pro Certification in Workday or accredited training is preferred.
• Knowledge of HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Absence, Compensation/Benefits, Security is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Workday configuration across modules and processes.
• Translate People requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
• Lead testing, release management, and data integrations with IT partners.
• Provide technical guidance to functional leads and ensure governance.
