Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a WordPress Tech Lead to helm custom WordPress projects for US clients. You will scope builds, guide developers, and ensure fast, clean, secure sites while staying client-facing and communicative in English.

You will own client work from scoping to delivery, lead themes/plugins/blocks, and drive efficiencies with AI across the development lifecycle. This is a senior, remote role with growing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong custom WordPress and PHP, plus modern HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Ability to scope work and tie it to a client's business goals.
• Fluent in English and client-facing communication.
• Experience leading or owning builds, not just closing tickets.
