Job summary

Die Mas van Kakamas invites a passionate Winemaker & Distiller to join our small, dedicated team in the Northern Cape. You will oversee harvest activities, manage the full winemaking process, and contribute to production and blending of spirits as we develop new skills.

The role requires a winemaking qualification and at least two years’ experience, plus strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Housing on the farm is provided.

Qualifications

• Relevant winemaking qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee harvest activities and coordinate vintage operations.
• Manage full winemaking process from grape to bottle.
• Produce and blend spirit products as guided to master the skill.
• Procure dry goods and control stock.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and industry stakeholders.
