Job summary

Virgin Active South Africa in Cape Town is seeking a motivated sales professional to drive new business and member engagement within our luxury wellness clubs. You will plan daily activities to generate leads, book appointments, present offers, and close sales, while maintaining knowledge of Virgin Active products and competing options.

This full-time, onsite role requires excellent communication, a willingness to work weekends, and a proactive, client-focused approach to grow the local club's

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with people (sales, retail, hospitality, etc.).
• Flexibility to work weekends and shifts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily and monthly activities to generate new leads and book appointments.
• Present to customers and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
• Record activity inputs using Virgin Active systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Virgin Active products and competitors.
• Expand the customer base and strengthen loyalty through calls and relationship building.
• Understand prospective members' interests and match them to our products.
• Close sales with support from Sales Manager or Regional Coach.
• Report on reviews and analyze objectives and planned activities.
