Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Fitness and Wellness Coordinator to manage facilities in Rustenburg. This role is central to promoting health and well-being within the community, overseeing fitness programs, gym operations, and creating engaging classes and workshops for diverse needs and fitness levels.

You will lead a team of instructors, ensure equipment maintenance and cleanliness, and develop marketing strategies to boost member participation while delivering personalized wellness

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer or equivalent qualification in fitness instruction.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fitness facility management or program coordination.
• Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and wellness principles.
• CPR/AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage a diverse range of fitness and wellness programs.
• Supervise fitness instructors and personal trainers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Manage gym equipment, maintenance schedules, and facility cleanliness.
• Develop marketing strategies to promote fitness programs and increase member participation.
• Conduct fitness assessments and provide personalized wellness advice to members.
• Monitor industry trends and update programs to meet evolving member needs.
